SENIOR BACK END DEVELOPER (AWS) - Hybrid



Seeking a Senior Back End Developer to support the development and integration of web services within an AWS environment. This is a hybrid, 12-month contract role focuses on building and maintaining server-side services that power secure identity verification and deliver gaming data to a wide range of users and systems. While the position is fully remote, we prefer candidates who are located on the East Coast.


What Youll Do

  • Develop and maintain backend services in Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • Support Single-Sign-On (SSO) features including identity verification and authentication flows
  • Build integrations that provide gaming data to service consumers across organizations and public-facing platforms
  • Leverage AWS components such as API Gateway, Lambda, Cognito, DynamoDB, and RDS
  • Collaborate with front-end developers, QA, and stakeholders to deliver secure and scalable solutions


What Youll Bring

  • Strong experience with JavaScript and TypeScript
  • Hands-on expertise in developing serverless applications using AWS Lambda and API Gateway
  • Solid understanding of AWS services such as DynamoDB, RDS, and Cognito
  • Experience building RESTful APIs and backend services that integrate with other platforms
  • Experience with ID Dataweb or similar identity verification systems
  • Background working in data-sensitive or regulated industries
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices in cloud environments
  • Ability to work independently in a remote team setting and deliver high-quality solutions
